About

Pocket Verdict started as a group chat where four friends kept swapping screenshots of odd little games nobody else was covering. The big outlets tend to chase the same handful of blockbusters, and we got tired of scrolling past clever indie work that never got a word written about it. So we made a place to fix that.

Everything here is played, not skimmed from a press kit. When we say we tested a game, it means someone sat with it for a few evenings, poked at its systems, and came back with actual opinions. If a game bored us after twenty minutes, we say so. If it surprised us, we try to explain exactly why.

We pick games across every genre on purpose. A racing game and a slow narrative adventure ask completely different things of you, and we think a good mobile library has room for both. Our only rule is that a game has to do something with a little personality behind it.

We're a small crew and we like it that way. No sponsored verdicts, no rush schedules, just people who genuinely enjoy this stuff.
